Her research interests focus on the development and application of different separation processes, primarily membrane-based liquid-liquid microextraction, solid-phase extraction, and adsorption, and their application in the field of radiochemistry, analytical, and environmental chemistry.
She is recognized especially for her contribution to the development of membrane-based microextraction processes in continuous contactors for use in radiopharmaceutical preparations, as well as through the development of (i) solid-phase extraction processes for the preconcentration of trace-level contaminants prior to their determination by various instrumental techniques and (ii) adsorption processes for application in wastewater treatment.
